We are just one day away from the launch of the the next Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, at least here in the US and the UK (other parts of the world may have had the movie premier today!), and in continuing with our week-long celebration of Harry Potter and LEGO in a variety of formats, we present a very, very cool MOC done by “Inconspicuous” that was posted on Brickshelf.
It features a scene that will be in the movie, and is a bit of a crucial scene in the character development of Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. In the scene, a Patronus appearing as a silvery doe shows up and leads Harry to a frozen pond in the forest, where Harry sees Godric Gryffindor’s Sword in the pond. Harry goes in after the pond, but is almost drowned by a magical locket he’s wearing, and Ron shows up in the nick of time to rescue Harry, and in the process recovers the sword.
